Hello all,
I need to get Freddy the Spit aligned properly. I can't seem to locate a
shop in Maine that has the foggiest notion of how to go about it, and I am
not so adventurous as to try it myself. I got some amusing looks and
responses when I inquired at the local Sears about not only having a
Triumph Spitfire aligned, but that they would need to do it with me IN IT.
I was not really serious.... So anyone know a really good shop in Northern
New England. for this sort of thing? I am not averse to a couple hours
driving to get it done right. Also, any recommendations for alignment
settings? Freddy is an interesting mix of bits, being a 77 chassis and body
with a 69 1296 motor. I am running the early MkIV front springs, so the
ride height is rather lower than stock. Koni's fore and air shocks aft.
