Actually, it's the vapor that ignites, not the liquid.  An "empty" tank can
be more dangerous that a full one because of the vapor content.

Hi Tom,

while working on an open gasoline tank, I personaly would prefer it to be
as emty as can be because of sparks, cigarettes...
