It's on the road again . . .

     I just can't help myself, I have to tell someone!
     
     In September, 1979 I bought FDU 88028L as a restoration project. 
     Pretty sad looking, but I figured I could have it whipped into shape 
     in a year or so.
     
     Nearly 20 years later, all that's left to do is finish the trunk, 
     install the front valance, a bit of carpet gluing, and back to the 
     painter for final detailing, and it's done!
     
     Last night, April 20th, 1998 at 10 p.m. I drove it around the block as 
     a nearly complete car for the first time. And around, and around, and 
     around. 
     
     Sweet.
