Later Gen1s also used the B9B 'puter. I assume this applies to them as
well?
This would certainly make it easier for the X2J cars to run on lower
octane fuel than the earlier cars.

The '89 B9Bx program also commanded an average of 6 degrees more spark
advance than did it's younger '92-'95 X2J brother, which might account
for some of the '89 SHO's added "quickness" over it's younger siblings.
