Hi Jim,

I just did this on my 95 and used the 96 bushings. I did it
as part of a clutch job so I had the entire thing out. I don't
really feel any difference so I don't know if they are
any better. They went in very easy even though I was told
I would have to trim the ridge on each of them because the
matching groove in the subframe itself wouldn't be on my
95. However, I found that the groove was in my 95 subframe
so no modifications were necessary.

I'm really not sure what you will have to do to just
replace the bushings. The motor & tranny are bolted to
it so be careful and have a couple of jacks under the
engine and subframe itself.
