Motorcraft has discontinued the U shaped hose.Part #KM-1719,or E9DZ-8548-A.I
did locate some that a dealer had squirreled away.I bought 7 of them.I think
there are only 3 left.I got 2 from green sales, boy was that a mistake.

Alan:
We (the SHO community) are down to only 5 out 10 molded hoses being
available for the SHO. Either MTX or ATX. RCM has the five that I know are
still available. The two big upper and lower radiator hoses. The U-shaped
oil cooler hose and the two heater hoses that attach to the heater core at
the
firewall.
http://home.earthlink.net/~rcm_automotive/id15.html

Josh at
SHO nut has only 3 hoses listed
anymore.
http://www.shonutperformance.com/

Cincy SHO (are they part
of Bittersweet now?) has only the two big radiator
hoses.
http://www.cincysho.com/Taurus_SHO/Ford_SHO_Catalog/60k-Maintenance.htm

I
recently just went through a total hose replacement. I brought the 5 old
hoses not available down to the local O'Reilly auto parts store and just
matched up shapes as best I could and then cut them to fit. Not perfect but
it's all we have. Last time I checked Ford had nothing
available.
.
.

> Ther!

are two coolant hoses on the radiator side of the engine, one a
>
short
> u-shaped piece that starts and ends adjacent to the oil filter, and
one
> that
> starts up by the t-stat area and terminates near the oil
filter. Does
> anyone know if either or these is available aftermarket? Or
still
> available
> From Ford?
>
> Thx.
>
>
