XP HELP!

I would like to know how to delete/uninstall any and all bits and
pieces of a program (in this case FaxWorks) that has been installed.

The company got me a cheap "crap-top" a while back and after 4 or
5 fax programs installed and then deleted, NO fax applications would
not work, because I could not delete enough of the bits and pieces.

I had been running win 3.1 on an old machine, whose only purpose
was to have an application called FaxWorks. With it my customers
could fax me their order and/or quote requests. I could retrieve
them remotely from any fax machine several States away (via this
program on my crap-top), and respond to them within a few hours.

Well, of course after 15 years, the hard drive went South! My local
computer tech spent countless hours trying to restore things to the
original, but has failed.

$1200 later I have a win 3.1 machine that will still receive a fax
and send a fax, but that I can not access remotely.

And a seperate used Gateway w/win XP Professional, where this FaxWorks
will not function in any shape or form but still has al;l of the
many saves pages that I need everyday.

Well now I have this desk-top macine that has XP, but also has this
Faxorks installed. I bought an unopened copy of winfax PRO 10.0.
Having tried to install onefax progra m over another mnay times
before with the company owned crap-top and with 5 supposedly deleted
fax programs, winfax did not work, because of all of the tid-bits
that weren't truly deleted somehow cme back to life and interefered
with one another.

Wondering just how complelety hiw to remove any and all vestage
of this program?

And NO, e-fax is NOT an option in anyway shape of form.

I get 15-20 faxes/day, and with these faxes is how is how my customers
communicate with me.

Any hints or clues?

regards, Jim White
