Either. It's fundamentally borked; you'd have to try really, really
hard to make a worse security system. There's no reason to use WEP,
unless you have a handful of embedded legacy devices that can't use
WPA, in which case, you need to be aware that you're broadcasting in
the clear. That might, or might not, be a problem. If there is data
that needs to be secured, though, use wires or WPA.
