There are drains that only trip when the fluid level reaches a certain
point. I know donaldson makes some, but I've only seen them on big
(1000 cfm or so) compressors. They also don't dump any air, just the
condensate, so they're nearly silent. I don't know if they make home
sized ones, or not.
