There's lots of left over oil. As long as you let it idle (instead of
running it WFO) during the last part as it is running lean, it's fine.
I regularly do this with my dirt bikes (and with my road race bike
when I had it). I have taken apart two-strokes which I let run dry
this way and there's still a lot of oil in the engine.
Of course if it's a Honda generator it probably has a floar bowl drain
(mine does) which you could use to drain all the gas out of the float bowl.
