That's an understatement. 

I went through this with a *new* floor had had plenty of
time to cure; the paint still lifted. I eventually got a pro
to come in and diamond grind the floor and do the whole job
from scratch - and I'm really glad I did. It's been great,
even though it was more expensive than the materials.
