Makes you wonder how the Romans managed it 2k years ago... Seriously
though, as long as you can count the number of shovelfuls going into the
mixer you can get an adequate mix.
Without doubt truck mixed concrete, and pumped (better still), is the
ideal. You do need plenty help though to do justice to the rate of
delivery. If you're taking your first steps in the wonderful world of
concrete though, there's something to be said for mixing it yourself and
keeping well on top of the laying.
BTW, interesting website Keith. Bonneville's a different world... The
Healey looks a nice specimen, if you get tired of it one day and feel you'd
better send it back home across the Pond...
