a neighbor and I are installing a wooden rail type fence.. We're using an pto auger to drill the holes but cleaning/moving/enlarging some of the holes we use hand operated post hole diggers... the conventional ones will only get about 30" in the ground till the handles hit the hole walls and will not pick up dirt... somewhere in my decrepit memory I remember another style what doesn't need the wider top hole to operate... but no amount of googling can find it.... you guys know everything.... find me some skinny post hole diggers... or at least a picture of some and I can make them !! thanks john like old ford trucks ??? check out my site http://jniolon.clubfte.com or our mother ship at www.ford-trucks.com |
