For my money (and ribcage), I'd much rather use jack stands, the ones with
cast iron jaws and welded frames. Had a lot of trouble with pre-made ramps
sliding on a concrete driveway ...
HF sometimes has their 6 ton jackstands on sale for $20. Even at the normal
$25, they're a bargain.
