When I'm trying to justify my "cheap" tools, I drag out my Harbor Freight 3/4" drive socket and handle set. It cost about $40 dollars for the whole set and each _socket_ likely costs that much off the "Snap-On" truck. Also, the 3/4" drive set is so robust, you could never break it anyway. I DO buy good hammers though: a chip flew off a "cheap" hammer once and burried itself in my arm about a quarter inch deep. |
