I'm looking for manufacturer recommendations for a lift. I'm looking
for a two-post asymmetric. Searching the archives, I see that bend-pak
has gotten some kudos and liftsunlimited has not, but above and beyond
that, does anyone have any mfgr recommendations? I'm hoping to find
something that someone likes that doesn't cost $3500.

I was considering Manitowoc lifts (they're relatively local), ALM (also
nearby) and Bend-pak (reputable, but seem expensive).
Also, is ALI a real organization or just a marketing ploy? (is there a
difference in this day and age?)

As far as the space it's going into, we're pretty well set with that.
10" concrete slab, 24' ceilings, plenty of room.

Finally, is there a source somewhere for used lifts? I've been trying
to find automotive shop auctions around here, but haven't had much
luck.
