Might you have a crack or other irregularity in the threads, on either the
plastic
or metal side? I have these kinds of connections and have always used the
teflon
tape almost without any leakage whatsoever. The only times I have problems is
if
I have hit the pipe or moved the regulator forcefully, something like that.
You didn't say if the regulator is on the compressor (i.e., solid mount) and
then
the pipe attached o the structure. I isolate my compressor from the mounted
lines
with a length of hose so vibrations won't loosen it up.
