I have to say that a 3/4" impact is probably overkill on any fastener on
a Triumph, and for most other passenger cars.
There's a mechanic's trick for upping the rating for a 1/2" impact
wrench a bit. Disconnect the air line, squirt about 1/2 oz. of light oil
into the wrench air fitting, hook the air line up again and have at.
Torque goes up about 50% for a few seconds. If that doesn't get it off,
a 3/4" impact will just twist the head off the fastener. (!)
