I would be wary of collecting sawdust in the typical home vacuum system
for two reasons:
1) The typical shop system has larger hoses to allow passage of the
occasional sliver or chip of wood.
2) The volume of the accomulated sawdust would overwhelm the collection
capacity of the average home vac system.
I'd vote for a seperate system,
