Well, this weekend I put up the pool cover in the garage for the
sandblast/paint booth. It worked out really well. It's about 20' long
and 12' wide. I left about 2 feet extra to curl under the piece that
lays on the floor. I used PVC pipes to attach to the end of the cover
to make it roll up easy. The walls are only 2 pieces so there is only 2
vertical joints. Rolling them up is a 2 person job, but to keep
overspray to a min. it was worth it. I also vented it for negative
pressure (fan blowing out) when I'm painting and I can put a filter
over the air intake. The only thing I want to do now is add a curcuit
for lights inside the booth. I want to put 4- 500watt halogen flood
lights in there on a separate switch, I haven't used it yet (I'm still
building my VW aircompressor) but I hope to this weekend. I'll LYK how
it works.
