I hope Ian Rimmer's comments cleared up any questions you may have had
regarding the Princess R. By the way, for those of you that aren't
familiar with Ian Rimmer's background, he is a long time employee of
RRMC at the Crewe factory. He is tasked with the coordinating
responsibility of matching all incoming production orders with the
factory's schedule (a very complex and critical position). Further, Ian
is both the RRMC and RREC Historian and finally, Ian is one of the tiny
hand full of persons authorized to drive AX201, The Silver Ghost, which
is owned and operated by RRMC.
I'd like to throw out an invitation to any/all of you. Ian, and his
wonderful bride Thelma, are coming to North Idaho to spend their
vacation her at Silver Cloud Ranch. They will be arriving in about two
weeks from now and I would be delighted to host an impromptu one day
"tech meet"... sort of a meet Ian Rimmer day... if any of you folks are
willing to make the trek to the ranch. We are located 18 miles north of
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on a beautiful 50 acre ranch. Please contact me if
you are interested in coming out (about 3 weeks from now) and we will
try to firm up this prospective get-together.
