Subject: [Oletrucks] Electric wiper motor question
=20
I have an electric wiper motor in my 50 3600 that I have had for years. =
It stopped working, so I checked the wiring, and upon deciding to =
replace it with a new $400 one, I unhooked the linkage from the pins. =
When I did this, the motor suddenly started working again without the =
wipers hooked up. So I put the linkage back on the pins and turned it =
on. Nothing. I seem to recall many years ago when I first installed =
it, there was a little band that hooked onto two pins, where the linkage =
is attached. Without it, they would not work. Am I imagining things, =
or is this a component that I need for the wipers to work?
=20
Thanks!
