Funny you should ask! Not 5 minutes ago I came in from the garage after
finishing up the installation of the fron mounts, much like in the postings
on the site you sent in the link. There were holes on the front plate. I
used a piece if cardboard between the bottom of the front plate and the
cross member to make a template , trasferred it to under the cross member,
drilled a pilot hole to verify they lined up, then drilled a 1/2 inch hole
through the cross member. For the mounts I used the rubber pieces and the
flat washers from the original motor mount set up ( I had bought new mounts
not anticipating they wouldn't fit). Using about a 3" 5/16 bolt from
underneath, I put a flat washer, a rubber bumper, through the frame, another
rubber bumper, flat washer, through the front plate, a smaller flat washer,
a spring washer and a nut. I put some blue loctite on the bolts before
tightening it all down.
Hope it works.
