They used to sell ground straps that you would bolt to the frame or chassis. 
They would hang down and touch the ground, discharging any build up of 
static electricity so you wouldn't get shocked. A quick search of JC Whitney 
didn't turn anything up, but your local parts store may still have some 
laying around.
