[oletrucks] 12 volt conversion question

I am reassembling my 49 GMC and have converted over to 12 volt. Do I 
have to change the defroster/heater blower motor and switch or will
it function alright as is ?

And by the way , thanks for all your help over the last five years. I 
have been lurking and
have learned a great deal from everyone...
