I have a '53 235. I'm losing a lot of antifreeze. The truck runs at 180: just about all the time, never creeps up more than the needle's width above, but when it sits the needle gets up to 212: which is all the gauge will show, and shortly after I start losing antifreeze. I'm not running any pressure on it now. Should I be running a 4 lb. cap? Rich '50 3100 '54 3100 oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
