I've had a terrible time finding any shops in the Knoxville TN area that will
still hot
tank parts. I suppose that it's a combination of environmental pressures, a
change in
the way commercial shops repair vehicles (don't fix much any more, just
replace), and
decreasing interest in the hobby community. Local machine shops and NAPA
stores used to
do this but appear to have quit, at least here.
What are most people doing these days for things like large major engine parts,
bell
housings, etc...things that are too big for the typical hobby parts cleaner
bath? I'd
rather not scrape and brush on just one part for a week or two just to get it
clean.
Thanks for any suggestions,
