[oletrucks] Fiberglass Running Boards or 53 chevy 1/2 ton instead of steel

Hi Guys, just wondering is Fiberglass Running Boards instead of steel are 
they Ok? Bebops is where i found them,Will they hold up? The truck will be a 
daily driver but it will not be used as a workhorse? Is there drawbacks by 
having 
the fiberglass running boards or is there a nother supplier you guys 
recommend. I need new rear fenders but money is getting tight, i quess i will 
repair 
the fenders i have.
