I'm putting a 55 or later valve cover on my 54 235. One on it, leaches oil out
the four slits in cover at top ridge. It has the standard flat filler cap. One
from later engine has no slots and filter mesh cap. I'm hoping to keep my
engne and area cleaner with the change. SO, I want to know if you fella's have
ever found a rubber cover gaskt? And , can I get this at Auto-Zone or Napa
stores? Have a brand or number? I can use a cork, just think rubber is able to
hold up if I have to remove it more than one time.
