| Hy group, I want to lower the rear of the 53 3100 i/2 ton pu presently I
have put spaces to get an idea what is happening. Let start by saying
that I got the truck without the original rear end, I got a 62 1/4 in
wheel flange to flange 6 bolt posi rear that I will need to grind the
mounts off that held the trailering arms for the spring mounting. When I
put 3" spacing blocks and set back the rear about 2" I still have way
more space between the tires and the wheel openings then I want, I can't
go much more or even this much space without the bottom of the ubolt
supports hitting the ground in the case of a flat tire. Any suggestions
appreciate in what you have done to get the rear lower. Thanks Ed ke6bnl
