Leslie,

Your question was posted in the middle of another thread - many may not have
seen it.

Leslie: <does anyone know how much it would cost to get a car hauled from
Fargo N.D. to north west Ar.>

I don't know exact costs for shipping the auto. However, it is pretty easy
to find out. Go to Google, type in "auto transport" or "auto carrier" -
you'll get dozens.

Shop around. Ask lots of questions: Does the shipping company own the
trucks? What types of carriers do they use? Open, Closed? Hidden fees? Be
honest - if the truck doesn't steer or run, tell them up front so the driver
can have stuff prepared.

We had our '59 shipped from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Spokane, WA (3086.9 miles)
for $1300.00 and that was a standard price, nothing special. It came in a
closed bed carrier and was ALMOST undamaged (the thing had no steering
column and it didn't run). Be prepared to bend to the drivers schedule - he
showed up at 1:00 in the morning. He did call earlier in the day though to
let us know when he would be there.

Of course you can always tow it. It's 846.2 miles from Fargo to Fayetteville
- according to yahoo maps it will take you just over 13 hours. If you got
15mpg it and gas costs 1.79, it will cost you just over $100.
