i thought that fuse size was directly proportional to the size of wire since that is what you are protecting. you want the fuse to blow before the wire melts causing a fire. or the fuse to blow before the motor siezes(which is caused by the wire in the motor melting) so in either case-you want to size the fuse to protect the smallest wire in the circuit. i dont know specs-heres my guess. 14gu good for 30A 16 good for 20A and 18 good for maybe 15A? mark http://customclassics.org northern california oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
