Well group it's that time of the year for me. Just bought a complete bed for
my 50 3100 from Jim Carter's! A few questions for everyone.....

1. Could someone take a couple of pictures of how the rear crossmember
connects to the bed. I want to make sure I drill the holes in the proper
place.

2. Also a picture or 2 of their front crossmember attached to the bed front
and connecting to the sides.

3. Just to let everyone know. I had Jim Carter's and other vendors give me
bids on the complete bed and they came quite a few hundred dollars less than
all the rest. And the quality is great. Oh yeah....The parts are Made in the
US of A. NOT imported.

The only problem is the assembly of the crossmembers. My old pictures do not
show how the crossmembers connected properly to the bed sides, and there were
no instructions.

4. Now I have to take the rear fenders in for blasting as the weather is too
wet and cold to do this outside, besides there is a national chain that
happens to have a shop about 3 miles from my house. And they are very
reasonable as they had done my cab about 5 years ago. I did my frame and most
of the suspension in my driveway, the small parts to include the rims in my
sand blasting cabinet.

5. Does anyone need a good torque tube rear and trans? Mine is complete with
new brakes, shoes and hardware also new rear bearings and seals. Sandblasted
and painted a few years ago, same with the trans.
