can i take the rear torque tube housing off a tranny and replace it with a reg carrier that holds a new-style yoke that will accept a modern driveshaft? i want to do this so when i change the rear axle to a higher ratio, i dont have to change the tranny too. mark (looking for freeway speeds cheaply) http://pweb.jps.net/~woodson 51 panel rod 52 GMC 1/2T 20 more AD trucks 4 more AD panel/suburban oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
