Be sure to check the soap you use - you don't want phosphates in it because some of the soap may be trapped under the rubber - against the metal and can cause rust eventually. I use silicon spray. Also I'm told oils like WD-40 can cause damage to the rubber - starting rot they said. Anyone agree or disagree? oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
