Yeah, the original 6 volt blower runs just slightly slower than normal after
setting it up right with the resistor. Another option is to buy a 12 volt
blower motor (also available at Chevy Duty) and it will run normal speed and
wont have this very hot resistor under the dash. Admittedly, the resistor is
much less expensive and the way most people go.
