About a year ago there was a discussion from Jack Halton about using the original steering column on a power steering conversion. The lower bearing used was from a Toro (riding mower? Jack, or anyone else who might have done the same conversion, what did you use for a lower bearing retainer? I'm interested in doing the same for my 49 panel which I am converting to PS using the original straight axel. Thanks oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
