I saw an interesting work-in-progress at the Long Beach swap meet last Sunday. Somebody had cut the top off a 55 car, probably a station wagon and grafted an El Comino bed in it. The windshield frame was a convertible but it looked lower, probably vet. Speaking of Vets... I remember seeing a 55 Nomad with a Vet front end on it somewhere. Anybody remember that? Know where I could find a picture? -- Ben Bennett He who dies with the most toys is nonetheless dead Http://home.earthlink.net/~greyhawk2/ oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
