The home built pressure sandblaster is in use as of this morning and the results are great. I blasted a front fender brace and a grill bar, both from my '48. What would take hours before, I was able to do in just a few minutes. I used an abrasive called Star Blast, sold by DuPont. It's fairly economical, $15.00 for a 100 lb. sack. Buy one or build one, a pressure sandblaster is the way to go. Doug '48 5 window 1/2 ton '66 C10 SWB oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
