I think I've narrowed down my cold-morning starting problems to the
carburetor. I have an I-6, 235 engine with the standard oil-bath air
cleaner. I've been told that I should replace the oil-bath cleaner with a
more high-performance air cleaner to help my truck run better.
Beyond that, I'm not sure how to proceed in troubleshooting the
carburetor. I've sprayed it down, inside and out, with carb cleaner, but
what else can I do to help the ole truck breathe properly (especially up
here in the thin air of Boulder)?
