[oletrucks] what year is this thing?

Hi Everyone~
My husband was given this old GMC his father passed away a month ago.  His
Dad always said it was a '54.  The title says it is a '55.  Can someone tell
us how to tell the difference between a '54 and '55 1st series?  You can see
