After some consideration where to put my tank in my '50 I used the original tank
in stock location. Shortly after an old timer told me the problem with tanks in
the cab is in a rear end collision the bed boards or bed can be driven right 
into
the cab and tank rupturing it. I've never seen a wreck that looked like this but
it sounds feasible and has me reconsidering.
