If this is similar to the one I got from NAPA, it won't matter :)
I had my reducer (just a big coil mounted to a ceramic block) mounted
before the switch - switch burned out.
Mounted it AFTER the replacement switch. Burned out again.
Coil in those switches is very flimsy; I think the 12v motors draw too many
amps for them... have no idea why they are listed for that app.
I finally just put a big-*ss voltadrop before a regular high-amp rocker
switch. I only have one speed, but no smoke so far!
