Time for my two and a half cents worth. There does seem to be a lot
more of this information than there used to be. While I do think that
there is a use for it I wonder if the posting to the group is the way to
go. I am thinking that maybe a posting site could be used to post
things for sale. I for one like to see posts on how to's and will this
fit rather than "this if for sale" over in another part of the world.
Maybe there could be a for sale page that could cover these sort of
things. I have been on the list for a while, and it seems that we
helped each other out with parts we no longer needed into hands of a
trucker who did. Many times that was done for postage only not for
profit. Lets keep the list on track and moving in the right direction
helping each other. Some people only have access to a computer through
there place of work. There have been times that people have had to sign
off the list because of all the message traffic on the list was causing
them trouble at work. Maybe we could use another page for these
postings and we could work to send personal messages to only one or two
people off list.
The meter has run out on my two and a half cents so I will move on but
not after saying what a fine job that all who keep this list going do.
We do appreciate your efforts no mater how thankless it may seem at
times.
