I would blame the rebuilt clutch and pressure plate. These are two items I
would always try to buy new. I know my father put in two rebuilt clutches in
a row that chattered. Replaced with new clutch and problem went away.

oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
