I've been thinking about silicone all day.  It can't be put in trans fluid.  
the old trannys have a vacuum modulator.  They sometimes rupture their 
diaphragm and let fluid get sucked into the intake manifold.  This would be 
poison to your engine if there was silicone in the fluid due to it's abrasive 
properties when burned.
