I've also done this on an inline-6 for over 20 years now and the engine is
very strong, with over 230,000 miles. I have not removed any part of the
fuel injection system for cleaning and it has never had a valve job. I
believe the health of this engine is due in large part to using ATF (1 qt)
in a full tank of gas about every 6 months. The motor is a Prince design,
and not a Chevy. Don't want to mislead anyone as to the integrity of GM
products. I am sure any engine would benefit, however, from this application
of ATF. What does it do to an Oxygen sensor??????? I have just installed an
Accel DFI which has an oxygen sensor. I don't want to screw up this little
jewel and have not put any ATF through it yet....
