For those of you who haven't been inside one lately, there are plenty of
new offerings by Maisito in the 1/18th scale. I've seen some Cameo's, some
stepsides, and in plenty of different colors like Orange, White, Turquoise,
etc. If you prefer smaller and cheaper than $20, then Hot Wheels has a new
'56 Flashsider Chevy in silver tone with blue and red flame scheme that looks
really sharp. I also found some gaudy plastic 55-56 TF trucks in 1/25th scale
up in front of Toys R Us in the $2 section right by the front area as you
walk in...they come in black and a chromatic rainbow. I have bought a few of
these, they are front wheel friction drive, not a bad deal for only $2. There
are some new plastic model 55-57 TF trucks coming out now, too. Some custom,
some stock. Lots to collect if you have the interest. Johnny Lightning has
some '57? chevy Cameo's in 1/64th scale in their Truck series for $3, its a
Cameo. Well, that's all I have to report on diecast for now, now to pack
them away as I'm running out of room to store them. :)
