the bigger trucks came with them.  they were metal, and enclosed the space
between fan and radiator so all air the fan moved sucked thru the radiator.  I
have not seen any repros.

On radiators, AD trucks came with 2 heights and 3 thicknesses.  I haven't had
a problem interchanging any of them.  I believe the thickest was used in 2 ton
trucks only, so that may give a problem with 1/2 to one ton jobs, but I think
it goes in OK..  during the Korean war the spacing on air cells was increased
to save materials, but outside dimensions did not change.  they compensated
for decreased ccapacity by using a 4 pound cap.
