I sent out a message last week asking about the size of the pinstripe that
circles the cab on AD trucks. I didn't get any response, so I went digging
in the info I have. On the cover of Brownell's book, the AD pickup has a
1/4" pinstripe around the cab. Also, on page 185, the AD pickup in the
picture has a 1/4" pinstripe. Whew...I feel better now....since I have
already put a 1/4" pinstripe on my '47. I used the 3M 1/4" pinstripe tape
and it worked great. Never done pinstriping before, but found it to be
easier than I thought. Sure improves the looks of the truck.
